I know Christmas was yesterday, but with the whole laptop crashing stuff, I’m just getting around to finding all the fun stuff I missed on the interwebs in December.
Did you know there was a book of Zombie Christmas Carols? I have got to get my act together and come up with something Zombie related to start making some money. I found the link thru one of my favorite authors, Christopher Moore. If you haven’t read his stuff, you are seriously missing out, my friend. Pick up a copy of The Stupidest Angel , it’s a perfect story to read for the holidays and it has zombies!
Here’s a favorite Christmas song…Zombiefied:
ZOMBIE THE SNOW MAN
(Sung to the tune of Frosty, The Snowman
Zombie the Snow Man was a jolly, happy ghoul,
With a corncob pipe and some boy’s nose and two eyes he got at school.
Zombie the Snow Man is a fairy tale, they say;
He was undead it’s so, but the children know how he came
Back to life one day.
There must have been a virus in that old silk hat they found,
For when they placed it on his head, he began to dance around.
Oh, Zombie the Snow Man was alive as he could be,
And the children say he ate brains all day as they tried to run away.
Zombie the Snow Man knew the brains were fresh that day,
So he said,”Please run, because it’s lots more fun when I eat your brain that way”.
Down through the village with a femur in his hand,
Running here and there all around the square, sayin’
“Decaptiate me if you can!”
He chased them through the streets of town and ate the traffic cop
And he barely paused a moment when, he heard the cops brain pop!”
Zombie the Snow Man had to hurry on his way,
But he waved good-by, sayin’, “Please do cry and I’ll eat your brains again someday!”
So that disturbing image is from last week’s Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars. Did you watch it? What did you think? Other than giving me nightmares about drinking water for the rest of my life, I finally got to see the darkest side of Doctor Who that we first saw at the end of “The Family of Blood” episode:
Tonight’s episode begins the two part goodbye to David Tennant as Doctor Who. Still a little bitter about that. He’s gone on to greener pastures…or a sure to be cancelled in a couple of weeks series in America. I’m not being mean I swear, you just name me the last series Jerry O’Connell was on that lasted more than a month. Go ahead. Think about it. I’ll give you a minute…see? You know I’m right.
Really sorry about the lack of posts. It was all due to my laptop hard drive crashing, leaving me with very old and extremely slow eMac to use for the last two weeks. The constant “spinning ball-0-death” drove me crazy and I ended up only signing on to read a few emails.
Thankfully, my laptop is finally repaired. I promise to get back on track and be a better poster. I appreciate your patience.
