Oink.

Sorry for the lack of posts, but the pig flu has completely sidelined me for almost two weeks now. I’ve basically been stuck on the couch watching bad Lifetime movies and MonsterQuest marathons. It was while watching Lifetime’s, “Too Late to Say Goodbye”, featuring Rob Lowe and an overly botoxed Lauren Holly, that I came upon this video gem of a scuba diving cat.

I thought it was fake until I came across the actual story of Hawkeye, The Scuba Diving Cat. My bad. Check out HowStuffWorks for the whole tale of Hawkeye and his companion, Muttley, the scuba diving doggie.

No no no no no.

I thought I had seen it all when it comes to the whole sexy Halloween costume stuff. But how wrong I was.

Didn’t think they could ever make a burned pedophile/slasher/murderer sexy, and I’m pretty sure I’m right on this one.

Megashark vs Giant Squid Tonight!

I hope no one has plans tonight because the SyFy(still hate that name) network has taken care of this evening’s entertainment with…

megashark

Here I thought I was going to have to go buy the DVD. I love you, SyFy Saturday Movies!

Via Wikipedia:

“The film features veteran actor Lorenzo Lamas and singer/songwriter Deborah Gibson as part of its cast, and was originally titled Mega Shark Versus Giant Octopus 3D, but “3D” was stricken from the title when the studio failed to acquire adequate funding for 3-D film.”

Shocking I know. Who wouldn’t want to fund this gem of a film right? The best part is that Ms. Gibson thinks there may be a sequel:

“Following the buzz generated by the release of the film’s trailer, Gibson hinted on an interview that a sequel may be in the works. “Because God knows what else is in the ocean”, she said. “I thought maybe a seahorse? Maybe a 500-foot (150 m) lobster would be good. But yes, there is the potential for a sequel, and I would absolutely love it.”
