I was in a pretty dark mood when a friend sent me this. It was impossible not to smile and sing along. Enjoy.
I got my anti-social behind out of the house this weekend and saw Jonathan Coulton along with Paul and Storm on Saturday night. If those names aren’t familiar to you, then I highly recommend you click the links and check them out. Jonathan is an extremely talented singer-songwriter. His songs feature alot of geek related references and zombies. Paul and Storm are a musical comedy duo who often travel with Jonathan but are also doing their own thing with w00tstock. I honestly don’t think I have laughed that much in a very long time. When/If they come to your town….GO. Argh! *
*that only makes sense if you have been to one of his shows…or are a pirate.
True/Slant asks Jonathan Coulton for his take on the new Fall shows. Good lord there are alot of medical dramas on the list. Why did we need a long, dragged out farewell to ER if it was just going to come back in the form of three new shows?

Time magazine says zombies are the new vampires. Well duh. Who wants those pretty boy vamps, especially ones that sparkle. Apparently it all boils down to a zombie’s relatability:
“Sure, he’s an abomination and a crime against all that is good and holy. But he exemplifies some real American values too. He’s plucky and tenacious — you can cut off his limbs and he’ll keep on coming atcha. And he’s humble. ”
